This poster was designed as a promotional piece for recording artists, The Lumineers, and their Cleopatra World Tour. Accompanying this piece is a matching commemorative ticket that would be distributed to attendees of the event.

Technical: Both pieces consist of vector art that was designed using Adobe Illustrator. The ticket is complete with a perforated edge for easy detachment.

Design: For these pieces, I took an axial design approach, meaning that all of the design elements originate from the same axis. I choose to use natural colors that are subdued in nature to communicate the direction of the music, folk/rock. With that in mind, I also included an abstract graphic of a mandolin. The hieroglyphics are a tribute to the Egyptian ruler, Cleopatra, for whom the tour is named after.
